there has been a while i don't have any update, here is a recent artwork.

fear is the biggest obstacle deep in ourselves, most of the time we fail to try out something just particularly fear of not success in something...
in this illustration, i'm trying to convey a message of being fearless to try out new things, if you want to change current situation...
usually we fear of ppls will sneer at us, get sarcastic compliments, ppls just laugh at how ridiculous we are to be so foolish to do this and that, they are evil, trying to break your dream into pieces, they try to cover whats you belief in yourselves about the potential to be somebody, they fail to try, and they expect no one could...
but guess what? you are far away better than those who never try out to make a change, nothing to be fear, all you need is just having "thick face"，stop listening to those "nice" words...
i would say never try never know, what you do today will makes who you are in future...

My first low-poly model attempt...
Theme : trash
I choose this theme as i think it give me more space to explore and start things from simple, it looks easy and through study purpose, i earn some knowledge which help me in further artworks for better result.

553 faces ( 1106 tris ),
5 pieces 512 x 512 maps,
1 piece 1024 x 1024 map.

Tools: Maya 2009, Photoshop CS4
Texture Map: Color, Specular, Bump

Learn and explore more about low poly model and the importance of texture, put little effort on compositing too, try to get the best result of presentation in this piece, so here it is, take me longest time is the texturing part, try to make it as real as possible. Hope to do more interesting ideas in the near future.

this drawing represent a trademark of our friendship that accidentally born :D
i appreciate that we got the fate to know each other, by the way...this is just the way that i jot down things...

the idea of this drawing is i took the kung fu idea from yin shan, yup...im stealing :D
try to form it into a nice composition, and im still learning, pretty much like fighting game design cover...

my first oil-based clay sculpture, spend alot of time to explore on the proper sculpting skill and shape control. A lot has been refine from the early sketch due to time consuming and unsatisfied design.

First of all, sorry to LastJump that i had spend a few days for these and not touching the final project...my bad ><
i suppose to finish them b4 opening school, but u know toa-ian always got the bad habits...
well, here u go, the members of DG75, there are 6 teams of us, each of us are working on the final projects, our own short film animation...
the purpose of doing this is for me to escape from maya for awhile and want to strengthen up our team's spirit, remind yourself that u are not alone and keep fighting...plus i' m a forgetful man, so i hope to jot this down, a way for me to remember u, keep the friendship goes :)
i used to observe ppls quietly, sorry to those if i don't make u looks like u, i'm still training my observation and drawing skill ><

What is idealization mean to u?
well, my definition is everything that u may not achieve but can get it as close as possible if u stress yourself very super ultimate hard.
I guess im too unfriendly to face all the projects thingy, graduation campaign activities contribution ( i personally feel ppls are work for getting marks instead of really contribute, abit dissapointed la...), hope to see the spirit, the heart that i mean...
yea...im fool, i did feel like that after done this portrait painting, im super damn curious to know about the future, keep thinking of how good if i were being in this ideal condition? just feel what im doing now, will hardly get into that situation. what can i do then?
ok...this is nonsense, so just try to do a painting, like what the psychologist telling their patient to do, see what story u can get in the painting, ooo...im getting insane ><
所谓艺术家跟精神病人只是一线之差，i guess im in the middle now...ha
there is alot of thing in my mind, i have no idea how to express all of them...
i think most of the ppls will definitely feel cool? korean? professional? but my purpose is to see something deeper than the out look...
feel the expression/emotion...is it too much for an artist? more to a psycho...

it's hard to show wat i got for the interface, but basically it include cmotion gallery, prettyphoto lightbox and simple rollover images....
i lack of passion to make the whole thing better...just feel like finish it as soon as possible...but except the gallery and contact pages...overall i m ok with it...

不要看他矮矮的，她是superwoman 龙头大家姐，文武双全，是我朋友的fanz，整天会假假扮cute，其实粗女一名。。。

唔声唔声，吓你一惊！画画很厉害，讲废话更厉害，可以讲不停那种，跟kiv一起就天下无敌，有够搞笑！
great in everything except herself =X...very pro, in drawing and talking (crap), her unstoppable effort of talking spirit is the thing that i admired the most. OMG!! holy godlike, when she is being with kiv (another crap talker)...

整天只会在一边傻笑，笑点低至零度，什么都可以笑一餐。瘦到材酱，可是很大吃，而且饭后有个坏习惯。。。
laugh without any purpose all the time, whatever,just laugh, her style...1 of the person who likes to eat but wont gain weight...she had a bad habit after meal, u might know some days...lol

perfectionism, ambitious in everything, but he always forgot about how far actually he can be...like to act with emotion (sometimes really feel like slap himself), had a boring life since he plan to have a better future...become a night cat with assignments, but still love to sleep, sleeping is fun!!! glad that know all the ppls above, either good or bad, u guyz brighten his life... friends=strength=power...fighting!!!

another pretty girl speed paint with siew again, her requirement is must be girl, so i just challege on it...
ok...this 1 also spend about 2 hours, well this time i didnt draw outline but start directly painting it out...it seems faster as d crappy hand no need to show...as im very weak in drawing female's hand, take me longest time is her face, abit hard for me to draw her eyes correctly, keep adjusting d proportion, well the skin tone also not so accurate...try to make her looks healthy and sporty with sweet smiling face...i guess this is more finished compare to the first 1...

it seems quite flat to me...im still weak in applying color...=.=

well in that time i was damn pissed with working maya, it keep crash n destroy all my mood n effort to work on it anymore...somehow it rise up my temper to work with 3d anymore, so i paint dis out...
here i wan to apologize to those friends that experienced my temper before, sometimes i was just like hulk, very emotional, i hope i will change this weakness...sorry

below is my very first speed paint about 1 year ago? not really sure, with the same concept...

here was my very recent speed paint...had been long time din speed paint ady...
i used back d very first time speed paint concept to repaint again...can c d difference of them...
i was pissed off of my college assignment, so i decided to do dis for relaxing myself...
plan to finish it within 30 mins...but ya...i spend about 1 hour...=.=...shit!
i fail to stop refining it into more details...trying to show a details work of speed paint...

well, while i paint this thing, there was really nothing in my mind, juz do it, dont think, ya this is the result. as what i see myself, the lighting definately not correct, erm...i hope those muscle flow looks natural, as im still weak in muscle drawing, hope this will bring me to the mood of continuing my assignment projects =.=...

Here was my last term 3d modelling basics final project...interior...
i had learn alot through this project by exploring how to set lighting artificially and manually...since this is not really convincing as the texture of overall is too clean for a cave, so my lecturer advised me to redo the texture in order to produce a better work. But well, i was damn lazy during last term break, so i give up of redoing...XD
anyway, here it is, dunno y it looks much lousy than my first architecture project...what a shame...T.T

other than that, more work will be posted after this freaking bc term...
